Back in May, SilverRailers stepped, repped and dropped to raise money for an incredible charity, The Water Project. During our fitness challenge we completed 13,636,920 steps and raised an amazing $1,365 for this wonderful cause.

As a company, our mission is to create a cleaner, greener future, by making rail easy for travellers, carriers and travel agencies.

We embody the values of Do Good and Stronger Together which is why we find it important to give back to the community whenever we can.

The Water Project focuses on ending the water crisis – 785 million people lack basic access to clean and safe drinking water. This charity works on providing sanitation solutions across sub-Saharan Africa one village at a time.

We are honoured to have been part of building a safe, reliable water source for St Joseph’s Junior Secondary School in Sierra Leone.

“Now that we have got this water source in the school, I can use the toilet and clean up myself very easily,” said 14-year-old student, Adama S. “I will no more be distracted in class due to looking for water to drink.”

Together we can create a better future, together we are stronger.
